KUDOS
Congratulations to a pair of diamond
stalwarts. Emma Adams and Adrian
Ramirez have been selected to play for the north all-stars in the annual
North-South All-Star games this summer.
The versatile Adams who played several different positions at Cibola
was se;lected as an outfielder and Ramirez, was picked as one of four (4)
pitchers for this summer extravaganza.

CIBOLA’S 2011-12 OUTSTANDING SENIOR
ATHLETES
Cibola AD, Gene Victor presented the annual
Outstanding Senior Athlete Awards to the following members of the senior
class on Monday, May 14th at the school’s Honors Assembly. Both awards had co-winners this school
year.
Girls:
Emma Adams (Softball) and Janelle Lucero (Soccer and Track &
Field)
*Boys:
Croix Sedillo (Basketball and Baseball0 and Marcus Tenorio (Basketball
and Baseball)
*This award is given annually in memory of the
Satriana Family who lost their son Jackie in 1986. Jackie and brother Geno
(presenter) are graduates of Cibola High School.

Each week the former Cibola AD (that’s me) will
highlight the Top 5 team and individual performances that take place at
Cibola High School. In his
retirement, he will continue to keep the sports page updated for the school

installment has the school AD providing an account yearly rise of the girls
